Meet the Dandelion Dental Dentists

Dr. Jung Kim

Dr. Jung Kim attended Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Kim returned to Vancouver and in June 1998 opened his first dental practice and married his wife Jane. His dental practices have grown over the years, as well as his family, including his son Caleb and two beautiful, energetic twins, Hannah and Abigail.

Dr. Kim is known for his energy and enthusiasm for his practice and patients. He strives to give his patients the same care as he would his own family members considering the long-term health benefit that dentistry has to their overall health.

Dr. Danny Rai

Dr. Danny Rai graduated dental school from the University of Damascus in 2009. He then continued to finish a two-year residency in Prosthodontics. Afterwards he spent the following few years working in dentistry in the Middle East, Central America and USA.

In 2012, Dr. Rai pursued a postgraduate program at the University of Minnesota in dentistry, graduating in 2016. After several more year of service in Fargo, North Dakota, Dr. Rai and his family moved to the Yukon in early 2018 and has been enjoying the area ever since.

When not at work, or on an adventure, Dr. Rai prefers to spend time with his wife and young son Emir.

Dr. Jay Junio

Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Dr. Jay graduated from the University of British Columbia with his B.Sc in Cellular Biology and Genetics. He then travelled to Europe to earn his dental degree from Semmelweis Medical University in Budapest, Hungary where he received the highest honours of his graduating class as summa cum laude.

When not at work, Dr. Jay enjoys working out at the gym, training for marathons, playing golf, and going on hikes.
